Premiership coach Marty Bokma has committed to the 2021 season as he will lead the Peter Welsh Squad.
Bokma coached his U19 Colts side in 2019 to a 113 point Grand Final win over Peninsula, which was one of the a most famous days in CYs history.
The Peter Welsh Squad is in its inaugural year and consists of Under 19 and Colts players.
The name of the team pays tribute to Club legend Peter Welsh.
“Welshy” still does plenty of work behind the scenes with the younger players of the club and assists in matchday operations.
After two rounds of football, Bokma’s side is 1-1 and is gearing up for a big clash this week against Peninsula at Fearon Reserve.
