As the 2022 season is about to kick off we are now seeking a bar manager to join our team.
The club’s bar is open Thursday late afternoon into the early evening and Saturday afternoons into the evening. While you will have staff working over the busy periods you will need to manage those staff and ensure efficient service to our customers.
Our Club:
The Williamstown CYMS is a strong community club that fields 8 teams in the VAFA with its Women’s Senior men’s team playing in the Premier B and Senior women’s team in Division 1 of the VAFA. The club has strong community links which have grown over the course of its 135 year history.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, supervise and support staff.
- Manage staff roster
- Monitor bar and canteen facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with liquor and associated laws and regulations.
- Reconciliation and accounting of cash registers and EFTPOS.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction with service and resolving issues when they arise.
- Supervising stock control activities.
Qualifications and experience:
- Responsible service of alcohol (RSA)
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting desired
This is a paid position with remuneration to be negotiated. Williamstown CYMS Football Club has strong connections to other local hospitality venues in Williamstown and there is the opportunity to provide further work through this partnership.
