The club is elated to announce we have secured a grant through the Federal Government’s “Stronger Communities Program” to help us erect an electronic scoreboard at the Fearon Reserve!
The grant, which will fund almost half of the project cost, was made possible through Federal MP and member for Gellibrand, Tim Watts.
Considerable work was put into the application by a team of people including Rod Ford, Mark Ritchie and Bruce O’Brien.
The project is expected to be completed by the middle of 2020.
The electronic scoreboard is expected to be the second upgrade for the Fearon Reserve in 2020, with the Harsley Pavilion also undergoing an renovation that will see the facility become more unisex and disability friendly and enable multipurpose use of the spaces.
