Coterie luncheon

We are pleased to announce that the first coterie luncheon of the 2023 season will be held on Friday 21 July from 1PM at the Prince Albert Hotel in Williamstown. Our guest speakers will be Collingwood Life Members Leon Davis and Simon Prestigiacomo.
$60 gets you entrée & main and entertainment. Drinks are available at bar prices. Of course, if you are a Gold member, or a Partner of the coterie, this event is included in your package.
Leon Davis is a Whadjuk / Balardong / Yuat / Nadji Nadji / Yamatji / Wilman man born in Northam, Western Australia and grew up playing football for Railways in the Avon Football Association. A talented junior, Leon was drafted by Collingwood with the 34th selection in the 1999 AFL National Draft. He made his AFL debut in 2000 and went on to play 225 games (kicking 270 goals) for Collingwood. A champion footballer, Leon is a two-time All Australian (2009, 2011) and was awarded the AFL Goal of the Year Award in 2008. He was made a Life Member of Collingwood in 2010.
A top-ten pick in the 1995 draft, Simon Prestigiacomo was given the number 35 guernsey made famous by Peter Daicos and made his debut midway through the 1996 season. He played 12 games for the year and was awarded the Harry Collier Trophy as Collingwood’s best young player. “Presti” became a stalwart at fullback for the Magpies, playing 233 games in 15 years at the club. He struggled with injury during his final season, missing the last few rounds and the finals. Although he was named to return for the Grand Final, Prestigiacomo voluntarily withdrew himself from the side after hurting his groin, missing out on a premiership as a result. Following his retirement at the end of that season, Collingwood honoured his selfless act by presenting the number 35 guernsey to the club’s top draftee each season. He was made a Life Member of Collingwood in 2005.
